Who is Amester Ames?

Upon leaving uni, I set this anonymous blog up. To keep the anonymity I didn't want to reveal my actual name. However I still wanted to be referred to something that was still linked to my real identity. To me, it made sense to be 'Amester Ames'. Amester and Ames are two nicknames of mine...Amester is a nickname my university housemates called me. It stuck and I grew to like it. Ames is a name family members call me. Other uni friends also ended up calling me Ames.

My real name is Amy! I am 22, a city girl living in Gloucester, but I love escaping to the countryside for family caravan holidays. 10 random facts about me are:

1. My favourite animal is a panda.
2. I dislike reading and films.
3. Although I have a degree in Geography, I don't know where countries are and my colouring in is terrible!.
4. I no longer have a thyroid.
5. Upon having my thyroid removed, one of my vocal cords became paralysed, resulting in me losing my voice, with no guarantee it would ever come back! Luckily it started coming back all thanks to laughing at a hypnotist show on holiday. 
6. I used to eat, sleep, live everything football related.
7. I'm left handed - yes I'm a little devil!
8. I can play the piano - I mean I'm not very good as hardly play it anymore but still. I also taught myself titanic on the flute when I was younger.
9. 9 is my favourite number - I was born 9 days early on the 9th.
10. When I was 7 and 3 days old, I walked to the summit of Snowdon and back down - in sandles
