A chapter into the unknown

Blogging: a completely new aspect for me Amester to venture into. Why blog? Why now? Well let me explain…

The blog title ‘A chapter into the unknown’ reflects where my life currently resides. At the age of 20 all I have ever known for the last 17 years is education. Having just completed my studies at university, I am now having to leave this familiar ‘comfort zone’ behind, whereby set curriculums led my learning; coursework and exams were the norm to test my knowledge and understanding, along with the stability and structure to everyday living education brought. I am finally going to have to enter the real world!

I would be lying if I said I wasn't daunted by this prospect. I have never really been one to worry about the future, I like to just take it as it comes and live life for now! This is something I consider has been shaped by life experiences I have encountered. However, the reality of shaping a career whereby I have no real passion or interest to follow a set path, unlike many of my closest friends, leaves me nervous. As a result I have come to the conclusion that I am in complete denial about having to venture into the world of work. Is this normal? I wonder where the garden path will lead me?

So why blog? I enjoy documenting my life. You could call me a tweetaholic, it probably annoys my followers but to me it’s a diary of my life, especially during my university years. I enjoy reading them back and unearthing memories. With not much going on in my life at the moment, I feel blogging would be a good area to venture into. Be it a parallel to my life, two separate journeys of venturing into the unknown. I will be blogging spontaneously, and if I’m honest I'm not entirely sure what content will be included. Currently I feel it will be about my lifestyle with day trips and travel incorporated, however other types of blogs may appear.

I hope you have enjoyed my first blog J Please let me know how you feel it is, ways I could improve as a blogger and what you feel I could incorporate into the blog in the future.
